- Performed multiple projects/tasks for several clients in the Securities industry. Primary duties included generating financial applications and reports for brokers. These contained equities analysis, bond analysis, road show schedules, client transaction history and SEC compliance reports. Technology used was primarily Visual Basic & Crystal Reports with third-party graphics software. Data engines used: SQL Server, Informix, Access.
- Designed, developed and deployed e-commerce web site for a retail organization. The site allows visitors to browse, search and purchase product offerings. The site was developed using Microsoft FrontPage with custom HTML, ASP and JavaScript. The e-commerce package used is Mercantec SoftCart 5.0. Over 2000 orders have been received and processed to date.
- Designed, developed and deployed marketing web sites for several retail organizations. These sites allow visitors to browse product offerings, contact the owners and give feedback. The sites were developed using Microsoft FrontPage with custom HTML, ASP and JavaScript. All artwork and graphics were done using Microsoft Photo Draw, Adobe Photo Shop and Macromedia Flash.
- Designed, developed and deployed an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system using Visual Basic 6.0 running on Windows Server. This application received phone calls so that callers can participate in daily medical surveys. Data retrieved from the survey is pooled in an Access database via ADO. The application runs as a multi-threaded ActiveX EXE, allowing multiple instances of the application to run simultaneously. Third party software used: Artisoft Visual Voice to control two four-port Dialogic boards.
- Designed, developed and deployed a Visual Basic 6.0, multi-user, Windows based application that tracks patients for a health care organization. This system allows users to track patient demographics, medication, and insurance information. Patient symptoms are recorded and displayed graphically.
- Converted several applications from FoxPro 2.6/3.0 to Visual FoxPro 6.0 and .NET. These multi-user, Windows based applications are used to track personnel demographics, schedule audits, manage retirement funds, and financial reporting.
- Designed, developed and deployed a multi-user, Windows based application (Visual Basic) that tracks inventory and sales for a retail organization. This system allows users to add, edit, delete, search, query, and report inventory/sales/tax records.
- Designed, developed and deployed a Visual Basic 6.0, multi-user, Windows based application that tracks company personnel demographics. This system allows users to add, edit, delete, search, query, and report personnel records. RDO was used to access data stored in Informix and Crystal Reports was used as the reporting tool.
